The art of looking at you

Farid Abdu Al-Hameed

Time stop
for sometime
to take a view at you
to crown you
with
some garland from Babylon, and
two eyes of pearls and a diamond
on that pyramid
as the Nile cross the night, and
the night ….speak
to the silence .
and the moon
the spy on the mirror,
on the face of the nile
crossing
with some stars in the heavenly go.

so
lend  me
your heart awhile ,and
let me stand awhile
then lend me your eyes too,
to take a view at you with eyes
with that depth of the heart in you
how the smartness wash my face
when am looking at you
it seems an angel
place the angle
‘fore your face and before my eye
to let me see you an angel too
the art of looking at you.

it seems ,more
than more tahn happiness
the art of looking at you
as you dress in blue ,and
the beauty …sweetness
waer you
to let my heart ask how paradise
the art of looking at you
to find an adress in the lover’s town
as your address in my heart
it seems more tthan it seems to you
the art of looking at you.

And still
the heart breath
the first bliss of looking at you
and still
the rain of feelings
green silence’ homes
stars of sight
glowing shadily
time horses driven by vict
and the leaves leave their colour of gold
and forms form anew rebirth
for the soul breadth broaden the maze
till it seemed
the moon raining
droplets, pearls, diamond and roses,
left them all and came to you
the art of looking at you.
